Solicitude Support Services is devoted to teaching those we care for the significance of helping and supporting individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves, both locally and globally, including in Uganda and Jamaica. Our supported individuals experience and develop compassion for those encountering challenges and difficulties.
​Extending Kindness Within
Our Own Communities
Struggle surrounds us, and we cannot turn a blind eye to it. In our daily lives, we walk amidst people facing challenges that many may not be aware of or fully grasp. Whether these issues involve housing insecurity, homelessness, or addiction, we will continue to show love to our neighbors in the most supportive ways possible, sharing the values of kindness, generosity, and gratitude with those we assist.
Reaching Beyond our Borders to Extend Kindness
and Support to Other Communities… Uganda
We were thrilled to contribute in various ways in Uganda. To empower women in local communities, we provided livestock to help them gain independence, generate income, and support their families. A small village needed Bibles for worship, and we felt honored to bring them joy in this regard. Recognizing the importance of clean water, we were excited to fund the construction of essential wells for the village of Nyamabare. Additionally, we had the privilege of transforming the life of an extraordinary man who faced physical challenges due to a car accident. We are grateful to carry out God's work and spread His light in places that sometimes feel dark.
CLEAN WATER
We are incredibly excited to share that we are actively engaged in inspiring projects aimed at constructing wells to ensure that the amazing people of Nyamabare Village have access to clean drinking water. It’s a fantastic initiative that will make a significant difference in their lives!
PIG FARMING
In the vibrant Nyamabare Village, Uganda, we’re thrilled to provide high-quality pigs to support single women in achieving sustainable income! Each pig can yield 15 piglets, perfect for sale or family meals. They can be sold while still nursing, eliminating extra feed costs, or raised for a better price. With two litters each year, pigs present an amazing opportunity for income!
BIBLE DONATIONS
We are also dedicated to supplying Bibles to this village, ensuring that the awe-inspiring and life-changing Word of God reaches the hearts of all its residents. By so, we hope to share the profound message and teachings found in the scriptures with everyone in the community.
ASSISTIVE MOBILITY EQUIPMENT
We felt a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity assist this kind man by providing him with a wheelchair, which has given him chance to experience life beyond the limitations of his bed. Following a car accident, he suffered severe injuries that confined him to his bed for more four long years. The gift of a wheelchair only transformed his mobility but also opened up a world of possibilities, allowing him to venture outside and navigate his surroundings in ways he had previously thought were no longer attainable. This simple yet profound gift has truly been life-changing for him.

Our interactions with individuals from different borders have revealed the true essence of courage and resilience in the face of significant challenges. "Housing" goes beyond just a physical structure; it signifies "home," encompassing safety and dignity. As we confront the quest for sustainable housing within our communities and around the world, we are profoundly inspired by the stories of strength and hope shared by those we have had the privilege to encounter.
